Launch a regional service marketplace with multi-provider payments (Stripe + Tamara) on infrastructure that could scale per market.

What I built

• Built Node.js / Express backend with MongoDB
• Integrated Stripe and Tamara payment flows including webhooks and reconciliation
• Containerized services and deployed on Kubernetes on AWS

Key decisions

• Abstracted payments behind a provider-agnostic interface so new gateways drop in cleanly
• Used Kubernetes from day one to avoid a re-platform after launch

Outcomes

• Launched with two payment providers behind a single checkout
• Horizontally scalable infra ready for multi-market expansion
